What we mean by OS

OunasOS is a new kind of system for eye care: not another single-purpose tool or a patchwork of separate software, but a unified operating system that brings your clinical work together. It connects the devices and systems you already have into one home for your clinical work.

Clinical AI, your choice. Ounas doesn't make its own clinical AI. Connect the third-party AI tools you choose, as many as you need, and OunasOS coordinates them within your workflow, with results in the same patient file.

Why we did not start from the scribe

Most next-generation operating systems for healthcare start from the ambient scribe. In eye care it might not be the best approach: this is the most multimodal specialty in medicine, with imaging, fields, biometry, refraction, etc. feeding decisions over years. So we started from the data and the workflow.
